Das redundante SPS-System für die absolute Ausfallsicherheit

Die CS1D, die bewährte CS1-Architektur in doppelter Ausführung mit Redundanz, gewährleistet eine rund-um-die-Uhr-Verfügbarkeit ohne jegliche Stillstandszeiten. Duplex-CPUs mit oder ohne Prozessregelfunktionen überprüfen einander kontinuierlich wechselseitig auf Fehler, ohne dass hierfür eine Programmierung durch den Anwender erforderlich wäre. Ein noch einfacherer Weg zur Steigerung der Systemverfügbarkeit ist die Verwendung von doppelten Spannungsversorgungsbaugruppen. Hot-Swapping von CPU-, Spannungsversorgungs- und E/A-Baugruppen ermöglicht die Durchführung von Wartungsarbeiten mit nur minimaler oder ohne jegliche Prozessunterbrechung.
